I am a Rocklin-based attorney specializing in business counseling, estate planning, probate, and litigation.

What you need might be similar to what someone else needs, but it won’t be identical.  I will respect that every time we interact.

I practice law differently because I understand that this business is as much about customer service and relationships as it is about practicing law.

My goal is to build trust and long-term relationships, not to bill you and move on.  I do that by following three rules:

(1) Be Accessible

Initial consultations are free. In fact, follow-up consultations are also free. If you have a question, just call me. We won’t talk about legal fees until you’re ready to have me do something meaningful for you. I live by the motto: If you don’t abuse my time, I won’t abuse your trust.

(2) Be Affordable

I want to earn a good living for my family, but not at the expense of your right to do the same. That’s why I don't bill using a traditional hourly rate. I almost always charge a flat fee, or for matters that require an unpredictable time commitment or more sophisti-cation, I would encourage you to take advantage of my unique Prepaid Plan.  My Prepaid Plan allows you to purchase blocks of hours at increasingly discounted rates. The larger the block, the bigger the discount

(3) Get to Know Your Business

If you’ll let me, I want to know as much as possible about your business so that I can be better equipped to help you avoid potential legal problems -- and steer you to potential upsides -- in the future.  This would be a process done on my time and at my expense as part of my investment in building a relationship with you.
